Hazaar Group LLP is committed to making hazaar.co.in accessible, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and the rules made under it.

The standard we follow

We design and test this website to meet the web requirements of IS 17802 (Part 1): 2021, the accessibility standard that the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 set for websites, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. IS 17802 (Part 1) adopts the European standard EN 301 549, which applies WCAG 2.1 at level AA to web content; meeting WCAG 2.2 AA also meets WCAG 2.1 AA.

What we have done

  • All pages use clear headings, landmarks and a logical reading order, with a link to skip to the main content.
  • Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is always clearly visible.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG contrast requirements, and the site works in high-contrast modes.
  • Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling at 320 pixels wide and when text is enlarged to 200%.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text and announced to screen readers.
  • Motion follows your scrolling and your clicks, never plays on its own, and stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The website does not use time limits, flashing content or audio.
  • The navigation works without JavaScript. Our forms need JavaScript, and an email address is always given as an alternative.

How we test

Every change is tested automatically before it is published: accessibility checks on every page, keyboard tests of the menus, tabs and forms, and a check that no page scrolls sideways at 320 pixels wide. We also review pages by hand. We review this statement whenever the website changes significantly.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any part of this website that does not meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If you find one, please tell us so we can fix it.
