Hazaar is beginning with residential development, because standards matter most in the homes people live in.
As the company grows, we intend to extend our work to other forms of real estate, across India and internationally, with the same standards wherever we operate.
Our standards
Standards set above the minimum
The law sets the minimum. Hazaar benchmarks its work against recognised international frameworks, and applies them together as one system rather than as separate checklists.
Quality
Quality is planned into the work from the start, not inspected in at the end.
- We run a documented quality management system modelled on ISO 9001.
- We check design and construction independently at defined stages, before work moves on.
- We choose materials and suppliers on verified performance, not on price alone.
Health and safety
Everyone who works on a Hazaar site, and everyone who lives in a Hazaar home, must be safe.
- We run a health and safety management system modelled on ISO 45001.
- We design structural and fire safety to the National Building Code of India as a minimum, and benchmark it against international practice.
- We plan every site for safety, and provide training and protective equipment for every worker, including those employed by our contractors.
Environment
We aim to build homes that use as little energy, water and material as possible over their whole life.
- We run an environmental management system modelled on ISO 14001.
- We design first for orientation, daylight, shade and natural ventilation, before adding mechanical systems.
- Where a recognised green building rating, such as IGBC, GRIHA, LEED or EDGE, suits a project, we design to meet it.
Security
Security covers the people in our buildings and the information entrusted to us.
- We plan buildings for safe access, good lighting and clear sight lines.
- We manage information security using a system modelled on ISO/IEC 27001.
- We collect only the personal data we need, limit access to it, and handle it as Indian data protection law requires.
Governance and ethics
How we work matters as much as what we build.
- We comply with every law that applies to us. We treat compliance as the minimum, not the goal.
- We record every significant decision, and a designated partner is accountable for each one.
- We do not offer, pay or accept bribes or improper payments, and we do not allow anyone acting for us to do so.

Market cycles do not set our approach. A consistent method does: at every stage we hold the big picture and the technical detail together, the forest and the trees.

Is Hazaar selling or taking bookings for any property?
No. Hazaar is not offering any property for sale, lease or booking, and nothing on this website is an offer. We promote a project only after it has every approval and registration the law requires.
Is Hazaar certified to ISO standards?
Not at present. We use ISO standards and other recognised frameworks as benchmarks for how we work. If we are certified in future, we say so only once the certificate has been issued.
Where does Hazaar work?
Hazaar intends to work across India and, over time, internationally. The same standards apply wherever we work.
Who runs Hazaar?
Hazaar is a family-run business. Hazaar Group LLP is led by its designated partners, Pawan Kumar Singhal and Hritik Kumar Singhal. Meet our leadership.
Do Hazaar’s standards apply to contractors and suppliers?
Yes. Everyone who works with Hazaar is held to the same standards we hold ourselves to, as set out in our Partner Code of Conduct.
